Creating a hopeful, inclusive community, as Easterseals Mississippi envisions, begins with ensuring that our program participants, staff, and Board leadership feel a genuine sense of belonging to our organization. Offering everyone a seat at the table is, however, only a start; true equity comes when everyone around the table feels welcome and has their voice heard We have made progress toward our goals, but our journey to achieve them continues.

We work to

• Include all voices in decision making

• Attract participants who can benefit from Easterseals programs, regardless of their ability to pay

• Recruit staff and Board members who reflect the diversity of our community and bring a variety of perspectives
